1. Compare these scales via the Celsius scale by using conversion equations: $C=\frac{F-32}{1.8}$ and $C=\frac{X-10}{1.2}$ 2. Since, X=F, we just replace F and solve for x: $\frac{x-32}{1.8}=\frac{x-10}{1.2}$ $1.2x - 38.4 = 1.8x -18$ $0.6x=-20.4$ $x= -34$ So, at $-34$ degrees, reading on both Farenheit and X scale will be the same
