Chapter 10 - Section 10.3 - Polar Coordinates - 10.3 Exercises - Page 667: 30

Answer

See visual aid.

Work Step by Step

(CHECK THE VISUAL AID) For each of the Cartesian values that are plotted, we plot them accordingly, with the (r) value, which is equal to the y value of Cartesian, being plotted accordingly with (x,y) for the radius, and the theta value, which is equal to the X value of Cartesian, corresponds to the unit circle value in radians. Since there are no negative values in the Cartesian form, the graph is pretty straightforward. Approximate theta values are in dark purple, and approximate r values are in blue.
