Create a Dystopian World

Objective:

Students will demonstrate an understanding of how dystopias work.

Structure:

Begin this activity with a bit of a review. Ask students what the main characteristics of a dystopian are. Students will likely reiterate things they said in previous activities, like an authoritarian regime, significant suffering, intense restriction, the absence of joy, pleasure, and other things that make life good.
