Zombieland (2009 Film) Irony

Rule #17

At the start of the film, Columbus lets viewers know that his rule #17 ("dont be a hero"), is one of the most important rules a person living during a zombie apocalypse has to follow in order to survive and prosper. However, at the end of the film, Columbus happily and easily breaks the rule.

Zombie Kill #1

At the start of the film, Columbus sees a zombie and says, "poor fat bastard." After he kills him, he ironically says "poor flat bastard."

Twinkies

Twinkies, despite having not been manufactured for quite a while and being very old, are enjoyed by Tallahassee as if they were made just yesterday.

Bill Murray

Rather than living his life as normally as he could around other people, Bill Murray pretends to be a zombie to travel around the area.

Bill Murray's Scent

Bill Muray, who pretends to be a zombie, is never caught and devoured despite not actually being a zombie. This is something other zombies would be able to sense with their scent.
