Zombieland is a comedy-zombie movie released on October 2, 2009 and was distributed by Columbia Pictures. The film is directed by Ruben Fleischer and stars Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Emma Stone, and Abigail Breslin.

The movie follows a set of four individuals (Columbus, Tallahassee, Wichita, and Little Rock) as they try to navigate a post apocalyptical style world, one where a "mad zombie disease" has infected hordes of people. On the way Columbus and Wichita begin to develop feelings for each other, which puts strain on Wichita as she refuses to develop feelings when there is such a high risk of losing loved ones to the disease.

The movie received numerous positive reviews, with Rotten Tomatoes giving it rating of 7.40/10. Entertainment Weekly stated, "At the bone, Zombieland is a polished, very funny road picture shaped by wisenheimer cable-TV sensibilities and starring four likable actors, each with an influential following." The film was follows by a sequel in 2019, titled Zombieland: Double Tap.
