Reflection on Ending

Objective:

Students will use their imagination and understanding of the stylistic narrative to complete a creative writing assignment

Common Core Standards:

CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.W.9-10.3, CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.W.9-10.3.B, CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.L.9-10.1, CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.L.9-10.2

Structure:

Have a student read aloud the ending of the novel, starting with "The eleventh day, morning." You may choose to have a new student read with each new paragraph.

The students will then individually complete a creative writing assignment using one of these three prompts:
