    Research: Franklin's Influence on the World Around Us

    Students will be able to do research on and present on the historical accuracy of the text.

    Structure:

    In pairs, students will do basic fact-checking regarding Franklin's civic projects, inventions, and government affairs. Consider having students use Prezi, PowerPoint, or Keynote.

    Have students identify a historical aspect of the autobiography they would like to report on. Consider the Franklin stove, paving the streets, street lights, electrical experiments, a dedicated city watch, the establishment of the first fire...
