    Students will be able to create parallel structure in strong, descriptive sentences, deconstructing and analyzing the text.

    Structure:

    Depending on the size of your class, consider assigning the work of this exercise to individuals or pairs.

    Students will be assigned one of the thirteen virtues. Using a combination of specific examples from the text and thoughts of their own, they will free-write about Franklin's personal endeavor to acquire their assigned virtue.
