Chapter 10 - Review - Page 632: 48

Answer

Graph attached.

Work Step by Step

To graph an inequality, first pretend like the equation given has an equal sign instead of an inequality symbol. Then, graph the equation. Next, shade the region of the graph containing points that result in true statements when plugged into the inequality. Finally, if the inequality is strictly less than or greater than (rather than having an equal sign under it), then dash the line drawn. For the system of inequalities, we repeat this for all functions listed in the inequality. The intersection of all of the shaded regions in the attached graph is the solution to the system of inequalities.
