Criminal

Annie and the rest of the group arrive at the cabin to find Ash with a bloody chainsaw and the cabin torn apart. They then throw him in the cellar which is a symbol that they believe Ash to be a murderer.

Blood Red

We see the light in the barn being covered with blood from Ash cutting Linda's head in half with a chainsaw. Then the light turns red in the barn. This is a symbol that murder and death are now covering the land.

Whatever it Takes

Ash's hand is possessed after Linda bites it. He then cuts it off in order protect himself. This is a symbol that Ash will do whatever it takes to stay alive.

Crazy

The deer on the wall begins to come to life as it is possessed and all of the furniture in the cabin begins to slam about and we see Ash screaming as the crashing abounds around him. This is a symbol that he is going mad.

Tape Recorder

Knowby has recorded himself reciting from the book of the dead on a tape recorder. His recording is a symbol of the evil being captured now in a second entity outside of the book that can allow for possession if played.
