When Ella wants to know the location of Lucinda, the book shows her. She also receives Mandy’s letters, opening the book. It is wonderful, is not it? Mandy’s book symbolizes her care and love that Ella needs.

The fact that this fairy tale is very similar to “A Cinderella Story” is not just a coincidence. “A Cinderella Story” is a main motif of “Ella Enchanted”.
