It’s 1936 in Cambridge, Edinburgh where Robert, a composer is in search of work. He is lucky enough to find a composing work with Ayrs, who is a masterful composer. While there, Robert composes a masterpiece that Ayrs is claiming credit for. He threatens to expose Robert’s sexuality to the world. Robert shoots Ayrs and flees under a new name, Ewing. After finishing his masterpiece, he commits suicide.
In 1973, San Francisco, Luisa who is a reporter meets a physicist who informs her of a nuclear catastrophe being planned at a facility headed by Lloyd. The physicist is killed before he can get his hands on the incriminating evidence. Luisa comes across the masterpiece composition by Robert. Luisa receives the evidence report from Isaac, a scientist. He is also killed. They attempt to kill Luisa, but she survives, losing the evidence in the process. She tries to access the facility again to retrieve the evidence. The killer has found her again, but she luckily survives this time. The killer is finally killed. Luisa finds the evidence and she exposes the truth. Several high-level operatives from the facility are indicted.
London, 2012, An author of a memoir, Dermot kills a critic who gave his book a bad review. This causes his book to become an overnight sensation. Dermot’s brother is looking to profit from his brother’s endeavors. He aggressively asks Timothy, the publisher for money belonging to Dermot. Timothy’s brother Denholme comes to the rescue and tells him to hide at 'Aurora house'. Thinking it’s a hotel, he admits himself to a nursing facility for the elderly. His brother did this as revenge for sleeping with his wife. Timothy stays in the home for awl while. He finally escapes and rekindles an old relationship that he talks about in his screenplay.
In Neo Seoul, 2174, there are human clones called ‘Fabricants’. They are used for slave labor. Sonmi is a fabricant who catches wind of other fabricants, especially Yoona talking about rebelling against their masters. Yoona is later killed and Sonmi is later rescued by the rebels. She is exposed to information they we’re being denied by their masters. She discovers that clones eventually get recycled into food for other clones. Sonmi is later recaptured and executed.
It’s 2321, in Big Island Hawaii, Sonmi is worshiped as a god. Her recorded manifestos from when she was arrested have evolved to spiritual texts. Zachry keeps having terrifying visions. He seeks guidance from a village witch. While there, they are attacked by a cannibalistic tribe. Zachry survives but his brother-in-law and nephew are murdered. The village receives visitors. They are an advanced species who seek refuge from a plague. They are in search of a satellite station that Sonmi used to record her manifestos to send a signal off-world. Zachry guides them to the station. Upon returning, his entire tribe is no more, having all been killed by the cannibalistic tribe. He sets out on a path of revenge. He saves his niece and joins the advanced species on their journey to another planet. In the future, Zachry, now older, is surrounded by his grandchildren, as they are entertained by the epic adventures Zachry has had throughout the Galaxy.
