"Our lives are not our own. From womb to tomb, we are bound to others. Past and present. And by each crime and every kindness, we birth our future."
Sonmi-451's statement ties together the interlinking stories that cross characters in different worlds, times and lives as every decision that was made far before shapes the reality for those lives that are yet to come.
"Belief, like fear or love, is a force to be understood as we understand the Theory of Relativity and Principles of Uncertainty: phenomenon that determine the course of our lives."
Sachs tells us with no uncertainty that belief is a force that must be understood. Not one of mystical understanding, but rather something that can be measured by a scientist. We may understand it less than numbers, but it has it's way with us regardless.
"Truth is singular. Its "versions" are mistruths."
Sonmi-451 corrects the Archivist, who has just asked her to tell her "version of the truth". What is being said is that there is only one truth that is higher than all, not multiple which bring down the fundamental reality of something be true at all if there is more than one.
