Before I Fall Irony

Before I Fall Irony

Offenders on the loose

Sam, Lindsay, and their friends drive around the city and to school by Lindsay’s car, and then they go to parties and come back drunk. The irony is based on the fact that minors break the rules. It seems that the police do not exist, or that driving by minors in the United States is not considered a violation.

Perfection is not their forte

Sam claims that she and her friends are not particular girls who have specific features. Moreover, it is not like “they are shiny perfect or their breath always smells like lilacs or something”. The irony is that everyone thinks that Sam and her friends are the most beautiful heavenly goddesses, but in fact, they are ordinary girls with their own disadvantages.

Mr. Otto’s skills

Mr. Otto is the athletic director as well as the soccer coach. However, it is quite ironic when Sam says that he “even cannot run to the vending machine and back”, which is located a few meters away. Here the main heroine makes fun of her coach. It is interesting if he knows what a bad coach he really is.
