Matrim Cauthon
Mat is also one of the important characters of the series. His personality is brazen and rough as he doesn't respect authority and the law. Gambling, drinking, and woman play important role in his life. Though towards the end of the story, changes can be noticed in his character about duties and responsibilities that subsequently help him to act maturely. In the last battle, the army under his command achieves great triumph over that of shadow.
Perrin Aybara
Perrin is also one of the major characters of the story. He belongs to a farmer family. He starts working as a blacksmith at a young age. He is a little introvert in nature. He is the symbol of great strength and intelligence. His closeness with wolves gives him the name of Young Bull. This incident proves his acceptance among wolves. Two objects that become the identification of his personality are the Axe and the Hammer.
Egwene al'vere
Egwene was born to the mayor Bran al'vere. She is one of the close friends of Rand al'Thor. She is very talented, strong, and interested to learn something new quickly. Her life is filled up with challenges, struggle, and harassment from being deceived to reach the white tower. After being raised to the Amyrlin Seat, she proves her political aptitude successfully. She is a woman with exceptional tactics and abilities.
Min Farshaw
Min is the woman who always supports Rand in every situation. She has an exceptional ability of viewings means she can tell something about the future. She was a curious, inquisitive, and independent personality in her childhood. Adventures activities attract her attention that subsequently makes her interested in horses. She has a beautiful relationship with Rand. She loves him, respects him, and fills his aloneness. She is also one of the trustworthy people of Rand in the Last Battle.
