After a long day of heartbreak and waiting desperately for Ivan’s call which culminates in Pepa rescuing him, she finally has a moment of epiphany. She realized that she doesn’t want him and that he doesn’t deserve her. Her heartbreaking confession to him that she waited for his call, that she only wanted to talk to him, but that it’s too late now is also a moment of her finally accepting the truth.
