What is Research/a Researcher?

Objective:

Students will be able to explore the role and value of research and the researcher.

Common Core Standards:

CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.W.11-12.1

Structure:

To begin the activity, lead students through a free-write in response to the following question: What is research? What does research look like? Allow students about 10 minutes to write as much as they can.
