Why does Amelia make a pornographic film?

Amelia agrees to do a pornographic film with her boyfriend in order to accuse people who have done wrong in polluting. She wanted to create a new form of film combining investigative journalism with pornography. But the film gets taken and Amelia's boyfriend dies in a mysterious house fire.

Why is Judith searching for her daughter?

Amelia has learned of an elaborate cover-up that her mother Judith, a high-ranking official with the Department of Justice is part of. Thus when Amelia creates a pornographic film implicating her mother, Judith sets out to stop her at any cost.

How did Misty's aunt see her alive even though we saw she was dead in a car accident?

Misty's aunt hires March to find her niece as she believes she saw her clearly alive. Mist has seemingly died in a car accident, but March continues to pursue her. We find out later in the film that Misty's aunt had seen her in a projection of a film she had made. Misty's aunt does not have very good eyesight, so when she viewed the projection she mistook it for the real life Misty, believing she was still alive. This also becomes the clue that helps March and Healy figure out that the film Misty made is still safe and will be used to implicate guilty parties in a pollution scandal.
