What effect, if any, do you think Aibileen's stories will have on Mae Mobley? Are they enough to make a difference?
Mae Mobley is still young, and she gets lessons from her teacher that contradict what Aibileen has been trying to teach her. Still, Aibileen is more like a mother to her than her own mother.
