Today's reading will complete the short story. Have the students begin with the line "The coffee was ready" and end with the last line of the story, "he was alone."
In addition, as on previous class days for this unit, give students supplementary reading related to Albert Camus, the historical period of the story, or existentialism as desired and appropriate for your class's topics and goals.
