Objective:

Students will be able to analyze Camus' Nobel Prize acceptance speech and connect it to "The Guest"

Common Core Standards:

CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.RL.11-12.7

Structure:

Either on every student's individual computer, or on a projector the entire class can see, load Camus Nobel Price acceptance speech. The speech can be found here.

After making sure each student has a copy of the speech, play this video of Camus giving his speech, again, either on each student's individual lap top, or on a projector in front of the entire class. The speech is in French with English subtitles.
