Power and Influence
The Clan Chiefs recognize Rand al'Thor as the Chief of Chiefs, giving him immense power in matters all around Rhuidean. Elaida deposes Siuan Sanche and takes over as the Amyrlin. Rand takes control of the city and establishes his rule, moving away from war and decadence that had long plagued the city.
War
The Shaido and respective allies track down Couladin and swiftly conquer the wetlanders and treekillers. Rand, seven Clan leaders, and four rebel Clan leaders are ambushed by Shadowspawn and Darkfriends. They are however successful in evading the ambush and make it in time to seize Cairhien city from Shaido. Rand goes to battle with Rahvin and ends up in the world of dreams, where he decimates him.
Politics
Rand al'Thor and the Clan Chiefs devise a plan to win favor with the four rebelling clans. They are successful in convincing the rebel leaders, and together they march to Cairhien. Moiraine Damodred is eagerly awaiting an opportunity to insert herself into the elite circle of individuals who advise Rand. She advises Rand against killing Rahvin so soon after taking control of the city.
