The Fires of Heaven Summary

Elaida is the fresh leader (Amyrlin Seat), and her primary purpose is to track down the insurgents such as Aes Sedai. They are not in agreement with her reign and her intent of bringing back the Dragon Reborn called Al’Thor under the White Tower's influence. On the other hand, the Forsaken group have a secretive plan for Rand because they have set a trap to ensure that he is not under the White Tower's control.

The former holder of Amyrlin Seat, Siuan Sanche, is working hard to ensure that he becomes the rebellion leader that wants to unseat Elaida. Sanche is accompanied by Farshaw, Logain and Sharif to Salida’s veiled city, where she intends to accomplish her mission. The rebellion against Elaida has put up a Little Tower in the hidden city to oppose the upcoming reign.

Meanwhile, Nynaeve and her colleagues escape and set a voyage to the White Tower to hunt down Black Ajah. However, they are tracked down by the Yellow Ajah and almost arrested. At this point, Nynaeve and her friends discover that the White Tower is under a planned attack by the rebellion.

Rand is privileged with power because he is given maximum loyalty by various Aiel tribes, making him authoritative and renamed the Dragon Reborn. Rand and his army can break insurgences against him and his rule. Interestingly, Rand declines to take up the throne of Cairhien, which he argued belonged to Trakand.
