Where do you find foreshadowing in this section of reading? What purposes does the foreshadowing seem to serve? How does it help to guide readers?

There are many parts of the text that include foreshadowing. Some come directly from the narrator. For example, in Chapter Seven, the narrator says, "Two days later, just before receiving the unhappiest news of his life—and having by then fallen into the same state as Muhtar—Ka would have reason to recall his foolish fantasy."
