Objective:
Students will create a timeline charting the various intersecting movements of the 1960s to better understand the period's social and political climate
Common Core Standards:

Structure:
Drawing on "Learning from the 60s," students will chart major events that occurred during the 1960s related to the Civil Rights, Black Power, Free Speech, Queer Liberation, and Women's Liberation movements, mostly in the United States.. These timelines will help students better understand how many of these movements intersected and built upon one another.
