For Sal and Dean, Mexico is a "magic" land: they are overjoyed at the world they've found at "the end of the road." Making their way to Mexico city, Sal and Dean are excited by the sight of poor field workers they pass along the way, and feel that Mexico truly encompasses the "beat" they have been searching for all this time.
