Objective:

Students will analyze a main character from today's reading and reflect on how the Beat Generation's philosophy impacts their characterization.

Structure:

Students will begin by selecting one of the main characters from today's reading (e.g., Sal, Dean, Carlo) who speaks to them or who they otherwise feel represent an aspect of the Beat Generation.
