Logan is a superhero movie that features persons with extraordinary powers. The main character, Logan, is aging, and his healing abilities are deteriorating. He is hiding in an isolated place at the Mexican border. Logan works as a chauffeur and takes care of Professor X, who has developed dementia due to old age. He spends most of his time drinking. However, his plan to stay in Mexico border secretly is overturned when Gabriela Lopez approaches him to escort her and a mutant girl, Laura, to North Dakota.

At first, Logan is reluctant, but Professor X persuades him to escort the small girl to Eden, a haven at North Dakota. Later, it is revealed that Laura was made from Logan’s DNA in Alkali-Transigen, a biotechnology company.

Before setting off the journey to North Dakota, Gabriela is found murdered in a hotel room. Donald Pierce acknowledges killing her. Pierce kills Gabriela after she refuses to tell him the whereabouts of Laura. Pierce tracks Logan and asks him the whereabouts of Laura. Logan refuses to reveal the small girl’s whereabouts. From that point, Logan takes it to himself to escort Laura and other mutant children to a refuge in North Dakota. On the way to Eden, they are attacked by a team of mercenaries from Alkali-Transigen.

The team of mercenaries, commonly referred to as Reavers, wants to capture the children and get them back. The head of Transigen, Dr. Zander Rice, wants to use the children as weapons. The corporation has made X-24, a deadly mutant, who is a clone of Logan. X-24 and mercenaries attack Logan and children. Logan and the children attacks and kills the Reavers and X-24. Later, Logan dies, but the girls proceed with the journey to Eden. The movie is full of tragedy and violence meted out against innocent children. The film shows how industrialists and powerful people like Dr. Zander Rice use their wealth and power to exploit innocent persons.
