Eddie not only gains superhuman abilities through this, but also finds himself in a world of trouble. Getting involved with the loan shark, Gennady, is Eddie’s main problem throughout the film, as he tries to battle the side effects of the drugs.

The movie consists of a large cast of well-known actors. Bradley Cooper plays the role of Eddie, Robert De Niro as Van Loon and Abbie Cornish as Lindy. The film grossed $161.8 million at the box office, against a budget of $27 million. Moreover, it received generally positive reviews and has gone on to spew a Limitless TV Series, with Bradley Cooper reprising his role as Eddie.
