Objective:

Students will use textual evidence to create a character analysis

Structure:

Have the students identify all the main characters and make a list on the board. Break the class into small groups and assign each group one of the characters to analyze (each of the de la Garza women, Pedro, Nacha, Chencha, and Dr. Brown). Instruct the groups that they must keep their assigned character secret from the rest of the class.
