Describe Hazen. What is he like as a man? As a father?
Hazen Lewis is Patrick’s father. He is a man of few words. Not only does he have few lines in “Little Seeds” but he also generally says few words to Patrick. “His father wore no metal on him—not a watch or belt buckle. He was a man who with his few props had become self-sufficient, as invisible as possible” (18).
