Why is Devadatta suddenly able to wrestle like Kapila once did?
In spite of what Devadatta argued in the preceding section, Devadatta's experience with the wrestler shows that the head is apparently not the only source of a person's vital characteristics. The body has instincts of its own, as Devadatta explains to Padmini: although wrestling may seem to the external observer like a sport that requires thinking, it is really the body, not the head, that he sees doing all the work.
