Kim Gillespie
Kim Gillespie is a mother fond of attending baby christening festivals. The chastening event is often crowded, and cases of missing persons are frequent. After Kim’s last appearance at the christening event, she disappears and becomes a statistic of the missing people in Australia.
Gillespie's sudden disappearance prompts an investigation into her search. The government and other human rights agencies combine efforts to search for Kim. Sadly, Kim’s children are orphaned and the responsibility of looking after the family is shifted to her eldest daughter. Unfortunately, the investigation reveals that close friends killed Kim.
Aaron Falk
Aaron Folk is the central character and the lead investigator. Falk has many years of investigative experience. Falk is strict, obedient, and time conscious. Whenever the government of Australia assigns Falk a duty, he works within timelines. For instance, when he starts the case of Kim, who has been missing for a year, he quickly discovers that she is dead.
The disturbing information is that people close to Kim were responsible for her missing. For instance, the murder is linked to Raco, one of Kim’s close friends. Falk closes the investigation after handing his report to the relevant authorities to continue with the execution process.
Kim’s eldest daughter
Kim's eldest daughter is a sad character because when her mother got lost, she took up the responsibility of caring for her siblings. Therefore, Kim's daughter is a responsible person who is humane, hardworking, and concerned. Kim has been closely monitoring the investigation into her missing mother. She is saddened when she learns that her mother died, but she vows to continue caring for her siblings until they mature.
Raco
Raco is a close friend of Falk and Kim. Raco can be described as a secretive person, dishonest and careless. When Kim gets lost, he joins Falk in the investigation, but he pretends he knows nothing about her disappearance. Ironically, Raco was part of the people responsible for Kim's disappearance and death.
