Creative Writing: Coriolanus and Cancel Culture

In this activity, each student will work to contemporize Coriolanus's fall from grace in Act III, Scene 3 by re-writing it in light of contemporary "cancel culture".
At the beginning of the activity, the teacher should have students watch the adaptation of this scene in Ralph Fiennes's 2011 film Coriolanus: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dwYCq53vmNY
Then, students should be given a piece of paper and a pen, as well as the following prompt:
