Blackass Irony

Blackass Irony

Homeless

Furo is a black man who is not rich but has a roof over his head and has access to the bare necessities in order to live a relatively comfortable life. However, because of his black skin, Furo is seen as inferior in his society and his chances of becoming rich are almost none. Because of this, it is ironic to see how soon after becoming white, Furo loses his home and becomes homeless, thus becoming poorer than he was when he was black.

Doing what he didn't liked

After becoming white, Furo started to adopt the behavior and manners of the white people he associated himself with. Before the incident, Furo always believed that white men and women have a much more enjoyable life than he did. This however proved to be false and Furo finds that he, ironically, does not like the so-called perfect life of the white people.

Falling in love with a prostitute

Before turning into a white man, Furo was very particular about the kind of women he dated and he was also extremely critical when it came to prostitutes or other people who supplied sexual services in exchange for money. Because of this, it is ironic to see that after becoming a white man, Furo falls in love with a prostitute, has a long-term relationship with her, and even gets her pregnant.

Money and fame

When Furo's skin was black, nothing was more important to him than having a lot of money. The main character becomes willing to sacrifice everything for financial security and does not shy away from admitting it. As such, it is ironic to see that after becoming white, he no longer cares about money and even turns down high-paying jobs just to remain in a comfortable and familiar place.

Ladies man

As a black man, Furo had no trouble with finding a suitable partner with whom to spend the rest of his life. In his mind, the fact that he became white should have helped him find even more willing women and more high-class women. Ironically, this is not the case and soon enough Furo finds himself rejected by every woman he tries to get close to.
