Furo / Frank Whyte
Furo is initially a black, homeless man searching for a job. By some miracle, his skin becomes white one morning and, suddenly, all his problems turn around. Apparently, being a white male in Nigeria is a lot easier than being black. He still has a "black ass", though. Furo embraces his whiteness, and tries being as white as possible. He changes his name to Frank Whyte and buys clothes to fit his new persona.
Igoni / Morpheus
Igoni is one of the people who initially meets Furo at the mall the day he turns white. He is interested in the change Furo has gone through and researches how he can do it as well. He turns into a woman, and he begins calling himself Morpheus. However, he understands the importance of keeping true to himself and is not happy when Furo begins being selfish.
Syreeta
Syreeta is a black woman who is in love with the white version of Furo. She knows the power skin color has in society, and wishes to fit in with her friends, who all have married white men. To cope, she sells sexual pleasure to men, so she can keep on living the lifestyle she enjoys. She becomes pregnant with Furo's child even though Furo doesn't love her.
