A People's History of the United States Lesson Plan

If all of the elements of this lesson plan are employed, students will develop the following powers, skills, and understanding:

   Students will assess, analyze, and engage with Zinn's historical materialism to develop their own critical perspectives on historical events.

   Students will produce a video essay related to the content of the book, utilizing video editing software and other relevant technology.
