You’re Only Old Once Summary

You’re Only Old Once Summary

The children’s book begins with an old man sitting and reading a magazine. When the page is flipped, the land of Fotta-fa-Zeeis shown. This land is full of people that are healthy despite their age. All this is down to the Tutt-a-Tutt Tree which they feed on.

The next flip of the page presents us with the old man again, except this time he is much smaller and sicker as he waits in a hospital. He is apparently waiting for a Spleen Readjustment and Muffler Repair.”

He goes on to answer a whole lot of medical questions and conducts an eye examination. He goes on to be examined by the doctor and they find an arrow pointing at his back with the word ‘Bad’ on it.

The old man is treated with pills and tested for allergies. He is finally seen leaving the hospital after finishing his paperwork and medical bills.
