Bringing in Technology

In the Day #1 activity, "Author and Book Research", students will use the internet to find credible and relevant information about the book they're reading and the person who wrote it.

In the Day #2 activity, "Being Wild: Where Does One Go?", students will use Google Maps and Google Earth to examine the path that the book's protagonist takes, and to acquaint themselves with the important landmarks that she passes by.
