In this lesson plan, students will have opportunities throughout various activities to use the Internet as a tool for furthering research and complementing discussion. Besides that, they will have a couple of chances to use technology in a more focused matter. In the Day 1 activity "African-American Culture and Literature", students will be tasked with using Prezi to create a visually engaging presentation about a seminal African-American writer who they are learning about.
