We Are Called to Rise is a novel written by Laura McBride and published in 2014. McBride is an American author who studied at Yale University and now teaches English at the College of Southern Nevada. As her first novel, We Are Called to Rise is set in Las Vegas, where McBride herself has lived for the past twenty-five years.
