Students may come to their own conclusions about who killed John Wright and whether or not it was justified.

Structure:

Trifles gives many hints about the events that led to John Wright's death and his wife's arrest, but there is no conclusive answer about what happened. In this activity, students should form small groups and act as detectives in order to figure out what "really" happened.
