Condemned to suffer eternal and terrible punishment

Delinquent

A person with a tendency to commit (usually minor) crimes

Glisten

To shine and glitter in the sun/after getting wet

Juvenile

A young person

Los Olvidados

Spanish for "The Young and the Damned"

Peso

The currency used in Mexico

Slum

A place with terrible conditions and overcrowding (filled with poor people)

Squalid

A place that is not good/dirty/not nice to be in because of lack of attention to it

Volley

When troops shoot out a great deal of bullets/projectiles as the same time
