Tommy Wiseau Johnny

Tommy Wiseau plays Johnny in this iconic performance. Wiseau is both the director and protagonist in this film, making for an interesting viewing experience. Wiseau has been both praised and mocked for this off-kilter performance, in which he has a questionable accent and delivers lines in a bizarre way. Interestingly, James Franco also directs and stars in The Disaster Artist, inspired by this cult film.

Juliette Danielle Lisa

Danielle plays Lisa, Johnny's love interest in the film. This is Danielle's best-known role, which she is still known for today. She was originally cast in the role of Michelle, but Wiseau changed his mind and instead cast her in the main female role.

Greg Sestero Mark

Sestero played Mark in this film and wrote a book called The Disaster Artist, inspired by the making of the film. His book was adapted into a film of the same name by actor James Franco in 2017.
