Richard tells Daniel the want to be friendly with him. Ironically, they are always laughing at him and Daniel doesn't believe it.
Dork
Most of the boys believe that Daniel is a dork. Ironically, they believe this because they don't understand him, so they don't truly know him.
School
Daniel believes that he knows why people are put on earth: to do great things. Ironically, he doesn't get why people have to go to school to do something great.
Steven's Sister
Steven says that Mark Rowinsky dreamt about his sister taking off her clothes. Ironically, Mark doesn't have a sister, and Roger says that he remembered Steven telling him that it was his own dream.
Fall/Land
Daniel wants to keep going to the roof in order to practice his flying. He tells Mrs. Rice that he will be safe and not fall. Ironically, he tells her this because he believes he will land, not fall.
