Frost/Wordsworth Concrete Poem

Objective:
Students will apply their knowledge of concrete poetry to Frost and Wordsworth poems.
Common Core Standards:
CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.CCRA.W.3
Structure:
Remind students that a concrete poem is one where the arrangement of the words on the page, in a particular shape or pattern, is important in highlighting the ideas found in the poem. Students should gather in pairs and choose one stanza from either "Tree At My Window" or "Daffodils" and turn the stanza into a concrete poem. Students should figure out how to present the words on the page in a way that highlights what is being said in the poem.
