Creating Tents

Objective:
To practice imitating a very stylized tone and of setting

Structure:
Ask students to read through some of the interlude-style second-person tent descriptions in the sections they’ve read so far, like “The Hanged Man” and “Labyrinth.” Their task is to create a new idea for a tent and write about it in the style of one of these interludes, paying careful attention to creating an atmosphere and a clear picture of the tent.
