    Hadish did not become a successful comedian overnight. In fact, she was often insecure with her financial standing and her now ex-husband got in the way of her career. Tiffany claims that her ex-husband continuously gaslit her and this greatly affected the timing of her success. However, she makes the right choice by leaving the marriage, and her stardom rises soon after that decision.

    Throughout her memoir, Tiffany emphasizes that she built her own career with others outside of her own family. Ultimately, she was responsible for shaping her success and becoming a comedian. By illustrating in writing and action that it is possible to become what you want to be despite being from a position where one would least expect success, Hadish proves that anything is possible. Her constant struggles with her biological father, stepfather, and husband were just obstacles that she was able to overcome, and one of her efforts in writing The Last Black Unicorn is to inspire others like her to achieve their own dreams as well.
