The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy Lesson Plan

Bringing in Technology

Throughout the study of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, students with disabilities should have the option of using dictation software for writing assignments, text-to-speech software for reading assignments, or any other ADA-mandated technological accommodations.

Students will use microphones and some form of recording and editing software for the create your own radio series activity, which spans Days 1, 3, 4, and 5.

In the Day 2 activity "Write Your Own Science Fiction Story", students will use Google Docs or a similar collaborative writing program to write and edit a story in a group.
