    Objective:

    To explore the central question posed by the author of a literary text

    Structure:

    Have students prepare an argument for the discussion question, “Does Edmond Dantes go too far in his quest for revenge?” You can assign this as homework prior to the in-class discussion. Students should formulate a viewpoint and collect specific pieces of evidence supporting their views.
